Today, there was an earthquake...
Well, not literally... but professionally. Nothing like a metaphor to grab the readers attention!
So what's going on Mr. B? Well let me tell you... It's a good thing I've been working on my guidebook, this website, and my overall framework for instruction this year. Because next year (in 2 weeks or so) I'm going to be teaching the following classes:
- Two sections of Honors Biology
- Physiology (senior class)
- Environmental Science
- Academy of Health Sciences CTE
- Lab Classes for Biology
This might seem like a lot of work, and it is. But, I'm confident that all of the work I've done this summer will pay off.
I would also like to add that I have combined all of my written work from this summer into my "Teach like a NERD" book and it totals 82 pages. That's a pretty big accomplishment for me. Mostly because it's formatted relatively well and shouldn't take too much time edit and finish. I'm going to include a temporary link in case anyone wants to give it a look see. The guidebook should be enough for any teacher to get their classes up and going regardless of their subject and scope. I'm also going to include introductory videos and blog updates for each class. This is to give students, parents, administrators, or anyone else interested in my work a good idea of what I'm teach, how I'm teaching it, and why.
Thanks for keeping up!
